AIG - The insurance giant posted earnings that topped expectations, but revenue was lighter-than-expected. The firm reported earnings of $1.65 a share on sales of $8.69 billion. LinkedIn - The business-related social networking site reported earnings of 15 cents a share on revenue of $189 million, easily topping expectations for 9 cents a share on sales of $179 million. In addition, the firm announced it will acquire slide hosting service SlideShare in a deal valued around $118.75 million. Shares surged in extended-hours trading. (Click here for after-hours quotes.)
Kraft - The Dow component posted earnings of 57 cents a share on revenue of $13.1 billion, edging past expectations for 56 cents a share on sales of $13.05 billion. But shares were slightly lower in extended-hours trading. (Click here for after-hours quotes.)
